Meet William Bruce Bates. He has only seen his son about 5 times in 13 years. Child support was implemented but only when it was ordered in court. The problem is NOW he keeps running from having to pay his portion. Currently, he is thousands of dollars behind.
At one point, I dropped the case hoping he would want something to do with his child BUT was I wrong. It has been over a year and he hasn't paid a penny of child support. I did all the leg work finding him and his address. Now I can't get them to pick him up. As soon as he finds out that I know where he lives, he packs up and moves. This is a vicious cycle AND continuous on going battle with him to say the least. The judicial system and law enforcement need to get it together. It is strongly suggested and encouraged to stay away from William Brace Bates. Don't ever consider having any sort of relations with this Loser Daddy.
If you happen to run into him, ask when was the last time he hung out with his son OR even when was the last time he contributed to the financial obligation of his child.
What a shame! The Child Support system needs to do a better job tracking down these loser dads.
